My Best Friend Made Me Do It

Well, this is going to be kind of short, because I have had a lot going on, and I haven't yet figured out a way to share it. So, basically, there's the good and the bad....

YUCK: I put myself into AA, because my drinking binges have gotten out of hand.
YAY: I am at the top of a list for a new job with the city.
YUCK: I got depressed today and would love some form of escape-- in bottle form.
YAY: I'm currently taking part in an online AA meeting (as in, at the same time I'm posting this).

--Okay, that takes too much time to type...... like this guy in AA is doing. I'm on here because some of these folks take soooo long to type. I know not everyone can have lightening fingers like me, but come ON! (jk)

These meetings are in no way a replacement for face-to-face meetings, but when one has transportation issues such as I, what is one to do?

*sigh*
