WE'RE GOING TO VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, wha-had-happened-wuz........................
We went out for fast food, like any other tummy-grumble moment before work at the bar. We were offered some postcards to fill out for a free trip, we filled them out like we fill out TONS of those little cards each month, ate our food and went on with our night.
Well, about 3-4 weeks later, MJ got a phone call from a lady claiming she was from Z107.7/Clear Channel Entertainment, "claiming" that we had won a trip to Vegas. MJ cleared the crumbs from her eyes (and ears) and simply said, "huh??" The lady then proceeded to ask MJ if she remembered filling out a card for the trip, to which MJ replied, "uh, yeah??" The lady confidently replied, "Well, YOU WON!" ...*silence*... MJ: "Excuse me??" This conversation went on, so I'm told, for a few minutes until MJ was sure the lady was telling the truth. She then called me to fill me in, and she must have forgotten to ask me to sit down, because my knees buckled and I started squealing like a straight girl. "What?? HUH?? FOR REAL???" Then of course, I did the happy-yay-we're-goin-to-Vegas dance.
Wow, it's still hard to believe we're really going, and it's a little surreal, which I'm sure will break when we land and see our first slot machine in the airport! Jeez, in the AIRPORT?! Crazy. Anyway, we're "planning" to do stuff like go to the Mirage and see the white tiger habitat, garden, aquarium, and dolphin habitat, and we want to ride crazy insane roller coasters at CircusCircus, The Stratosphere, and one of those other casinos with rides... Hey, you never know-- our entire vacation very well could be spent between the room, casino, buffet, and the POOL. Who needs the strip, when we can strip our tight clothes off our buffet-filled bellies, squeeze into our swimming suits that used to fit when we got there, only to STRIP them off and go to sleep? Hey, sounds like a plan.... (hee hee) MJ really wants to see the tiggers, I really want to see the dolphins (and the tiggers) and we REALLY want to visit Slots-O-Fun!!! I heard they have HELLA penny slots!! Yay! Oh, and of COURSE we have to go to Coyote Ugly. *giggle* Rowr!! ;)
So, that's what I have to make up for all the time I haven't made an entry. See, this way, I HAVE to tell all about my trip! Along with pictures, of course.
